Here's a Christmas Word for You...

Words are so powerful.  They can build you up or tear you down.  They can inspire or destroy, soothe or inflame, encourage or deflate.  Words are integral to who we are.  We need words and communication.   As this season of great words comes quickly upon us, I want to leave you with some inspiring words...words to bring life and encouragement to you all.

You are amazing and unique!  Full of creativity and passion.  Sending lots of joy your way as you discover more of who you are and everything you have to give to this wonderful world.

You are full of love and hope.  You inspire others with all you have to offer.  Your acts of kindness to others is a reflection of our Creator.  You are wonderful!

You carry happiness.  You are a peacemaker.  You bring hope to many others.

Sending you lots of great words for a wonderful Christmas day and a year full of love, blessings and favor.

Thanks for being a part of this world and sharing who you are...blessings and happiest of all holidays to you!

I have these same ornaments only in green. I chose "Peace" and Joy" last year and have left up in my kitchen ever since.

Thank you for your encouraging comment on my recent post - seems we have quite a few things in common. I trust and pray all will go well during your transition times too.....

  5. Wow. Very beautiful Christmas photos! Thank you very much for your information. I rewrote my post. May I ask two questions? It is said in Japan that sphere ornaments(decorations) are apples originally.
A stick decoration means a spirit of cooperation.
    Are both explanations true?
    Wishing you a merry Christmas.

  6. Minoru, those are two great questions,I found this info on Wikipedia about round ornaments: "The first decorated trees were adorned with apples, strings of popcorn, white candy canes and pastries in the shapes of stars, hearts and flowers. Glass baubles were first made in Lauscha, Germany, by Hans Greiner who produced garlands of glass beads similar to the popcorn strands and tin figures that could be hung on trees. The popularity of these decorations grew into the production of glass figures made by highly skilled artisans with clay molds." So that makes a lot of sense that ornaments came from the shape of an apple. I've never heard about the sticks representing "a spirit of cooperation." Interesting though! Have a great Christmas!!
